About the Inventor
C-VAT® is developed by Professor Reed Nelson, Associate Professor of Management, University of Southern Illinois, Carbondale (SIUC). His specialties are comparative management, organisational theory and organisational behavior.
His research interests are broad, including social networks in organizations, strategy and structure in third world contexts, cross national studies of organisational culture, and diagnostic applications of network analysis and cause maps.
He has spent over ten years in Brazil, including two Fulbright fellowships, and is well known in academic and executive circles there. He is currently Associate Editor of Administrative Science Quarterly.
